Great list. I have a friend who spent an entire summer learning how to raise one eyebrow. He was able to train himself to do it. He is tenacious for sure

Don't understand tofu? ;-)
It's very misunderstood, for sure.
It's a mash of soybeans with no flavor, but you can spice it up quite nicely...High in protein...
That's Tofu 101 for today, class!

Oooohh! I can flare my nostrils too! But can you do it set to music??
Quite talented, aren't we??
haha

Great list DoGGA :-)
Thanks for playing

Don’t be scared of or hate depression…..just make sure you stay on the sunny side of the street. It’s not always easy, but it is achievable :)

Thanks for sharing the puffin sound…. Never heard that before :)

Lovely and intersting list!!

Phil:
Ah, so you can train your eyebrow then eh! I got some work to be doing. :]

Kayla:
Thanks for the Tofu facts.
Ooh, cool, another nostril flarer. I must start a club; it really is a life skill.
Do it to music, oh yeah, bring it on :]

Dakota:
That's what I'm really trying to do Dakota. Not always easy, as you mentioned, but far to easy to slip back into it. I'm doing quit well recently.
Puffins are ace...

That Black Dog of depression is a nasty one, if that is where you are/have been. It's a battle, but you're not alone.
I like your list. Too many things on it I agree with

Lord Hutton:
Have been 'there', several years ago! It's always a battle when you've been that low for a couple of years.
It's always there to haunt you, a bit like an addiction to someone who's quit something.
It sounds like you may of too or at least know someone who has. :[

The sound a Puffin makes is surely one of the things you agreed with surely! :]

M.A.S.K.? Do you mean M.A.S.H.?

P.S. I can flare my nostrils, roll my tongue AND wiggle one ear (sadly not both).

I don’t want to go on, and on about depression but I just wanted to add this. You are right when you say "it’s always there to haunt you" but in my experience (been there, done that) it is also easier to identify the whole sliding back process. In other words, you can react earlier to prevent you hitting rock bottom (again).

I am glad to read that you are doing quite well right now, {{DoGGa}}

I don't understand Spongebob either.

Like the new picture!

Jan:
Both actually, but no I did mean M.A.S.K

Yay, another flarer, but you can wiggle one ear too. Now that's just showing off now isn't it!

Dakota:
No, I could talk about depression for a long time too Dakota. It's such a big subject. Yeah, the key is to keep on track and avoid sliding down too far.
I'm doing OK, but a bit of a struggle at times. :[

Sarah:
Spongebob is very peculiar yes.
Glad you like the new piccie! :]

Needing a wee in the middle of the night IS annoying BUT getting back into bed after with all that sleep yet to come is bliss.

I LOVE that puffin sound!!!! It was that sound that got me listening to Chris Moyles!!! Makes me smile EVERY time. And now I can hear it any time I like. Thanks :-X

Omigod, I love that picture on the side of your blog!

I think I want your phone number. I can call England for free. I just want to hear your accent. Then I'll let ya go.

Phil said...

Sarah, hahahaha, ohhhh K!
Mmmm, erm, e-mail me, but are you really sure you wanna hear a mild wets midlands accent? It's no queens English I can tell you and it's certainly nothing like Sean Connery either.

Phil said...

Glockenspiel? I guess you could play Heavy Metal with it ;-)
