Excuses, Excuses, Excuses...

I received yet another classic e-mail today, but this time from my friend Chris, who works at an art college in Birmingham:

Just had to email into work absent.

This sounds like a pathetic excuse, but I'm in agony. Cleaning my teeth, had a huge coughing fit, started to wretch and pulled a muscle in my back - I know, I know it sounds like a dodgy excuse, but I'm bent over double and I can hardly straighten out and have to crawl around to get anywhere - I cant believe it!

I'm going back to bed.
Later Dog

It does sound like the worst excuse ever, but I'm sure it's true.

I love the way he E-MAILED into work ill!!!

Gamblers. For a new gambling opportunity, try sending £50 to yourself by Royal Mail.

I will go outside the bounds and say "bullshit!"

Ooh, a sucker for a bet eh? Yeah, best stay clear! :[]

Quack, quack!

Hey DoGGa,
That would be "cluck cluck" but who's counting??
Hope you're having a grand weekend!

I had a friend who would always call in sick claiming spider bite. The boss would say spider bite???, and my friend would reply how they can be quite dangerous. The truth was that he had been up too late partying but who's going to question a spider bite.
I love your friends excuse, it's so strange that is has to be real...

Hey up Kayla!
Hehe, no... quack, quack! A drunken night's card playing caused this error to arise to much hilarity, so it's stuck ever since! Always refer to a chicken sound as "quack, quack" :]

A spider bite... Wouldn't work over here, no poisenous spiders, luckily.
Yeah, the excuse is so odd, it just has to be true!

lord ... what a dodgy excuse! But its better than what I had to pass off once. I emailed into work to say that an insect bit my lip and that it was swollen twice its size :-p

LOL, I trust the insect bite was true! I hope!!! :]
